I don't think he looks as evil as I would be expecting! Well he doesn't look real evil in that pic, but I think with makeup it would work and he's a really good actor, so I think he'd be good! ;D

Hmmm... I really don't like Hugh Laurie, so I really hope he isn't casted as Capricorn. He is too sarcastic, and almost pathetic feeling, to be Capricorn. I want I guy you look at and shudder!
I agree that Kate Winslet would also be a good Resa!
I really was opposed to Fraser at first too, espc. since I could see a number of actors being far better for the role, like Caviezel, Jackman, or Gruffudd. But if Funke really has her heart on Fraser, I suppose he can become the perfect Mo.... oooh, at least I really, really hope he does!!

A lot of the time when I'm reading a book, I kinda don't picture the character, I just go, ok, brown hair, blue eyes, tall, skinny, right. And the rest I just don't think about.

I always just have a weird cloud of words in my head. I mean, of course I picture some of what happens, but really I can't picture what people look like. I have vague images in my head, but I never know what a character looks like until someone draws something or has a picture of an actor, and I go "Oh, no, that's not them!". Or "Yes, that's perfect!". For example, with the Harry Potter books, one of my friends drew a picture of Harry and immediately I was like "That's him!". So my vision of Harry is sort of... I guess a mostly Dan Radcliffe in the 3rd movie; that's pretty close to the picture she drew. Also, when I read Inkheart, I was wearing braided pigtails, and my hair was pretty short and I had dyed it a brighter red. So now I always picture Meggie in pigtails with red hair.
