6:45 - got up, got ready 7:15 - left for town 7:30 - got to town 7:45 - 9:45 - did Clean Up Australia day, 2 hrs picking up rubbish 10:00 - 12:00 - doorknocking for Red Cross About 12:30 - got home, had lunch Then I worked on my English speech, read a bit of Jane Eyre, then came on here. Pretty exhausting day, especially as it's so hot, but guess how much my friend and I collected for Red Cross?? $121.20! That's pretty good, considering we got an area where there weren't many people at home. Another group of doorknockers got a $250 cheque!

omg that's so cool! was it freezing in alaska? like I said in another thread, some of my friends are going to america later this year, but i'll expand more here... they're going with this program called "G'day USA". they go for only ten days i think, to the west coast, and also to tijuana in mexico. they get to spend 2 days at an american highschool too. a few years ago i had a friend from another school go and she said it was really good. everyone was real nice, even though at the school people kept coming up and going "G'day mate!"

no *sniff* my school used to have a trip down to the snow, but they cancelled it a few years ago, and so I never got to go. I'm more a summer person anyway, but I still want to see snow!
